This was my first bathroom refurb for the new year.
I am currently in the middle of another one as well.
As you can see from the before and after pictures there was a fair bit to do.
It took two solid days to get this looking something like but was worth it as the customer agreed.
As usual with this type of work it is all in the prep.
Had to start by killing off all the mould. Which in an un-ventilated area with heavy duty chemicals almost killed me off in the process.
Then a special spray paint to protect against regrowth.
Then a bathroom paint also designed to protect against mould
All the grout was cleaned and covered with a whitening product.
The old silicone removed and re-done.
A new high powered extractor fan fitted.
All surfaces cleaned.
A lot of hard work 🙂
