As a Handyman, I am often asked if I can hang/put up some thing or another. Could be a mirror, picture, shelf, cabinet or who knows what. The answer is “YES” of course.
The next question is usually “How much do you charge?”
A lot of my jobs I have a fixed price for and can be found on my booking page. However, some things I have to quote you for. Now bear in mind that I have a minimum charge, which at the time of writing this is £40 (subject to change).
So if you just want, say for example a mirror put up it would be my “minimum” charge. If you wanted a mirror and a picture put up it would still be £40 (min charge) because I know what is involved and how long it will take. Now, if you said you wanted 5 pictures put up and they need to be in line with each other, at a certain height and spacing etc it could very well take some time and therefore cost more than £40
So, in short – Always contact me first with as much detail about the item or items you want to be put up and that way I can give you a price.
